Safety Officer

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year accredited college or university with at least three (3) years of related experience.

Possession of a valid driver’s license in the appropriate class and any other certificates, licenses and registrations as required by law to perform the specified functions.

Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Tools, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

OSHA 30 Hours Safety Training is preferred. (Construction or Industry)

Ability to speak read and write both Spanish/English in a work setting.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Ability to develop, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees of the organization and government officials.

Ability to coordinates and offers safety and health trainings.

Must be highly detailed oriented and organized.

Must be able to understand organization priorities and meet deadlines.
